How did you and your husband meet?

We met at a friend’s 21st birthday where Martin was bartending. I kept going to the bar tospeak to him and he finally caught the hint and asked for my number.

How did he propose?

Martin said we were going to a friends birthday party in Vaucluse. We walked through the park where Martin had organised a beautiful set up on a lookout overlooking the ocean.

What was your vision for your wedding day?

The theme was “Old world, meets new”. We wanted to utilise the beautiful interiors and high ceilings of the historical Sydney Town Hall and modernise it with unique floral arrangements. The styling was executed beautifully by Diane Khoury and George from Seed Flora who helped bring our vision together.

Where did you look for your wedding inspiration?

Instagram and Pinterest.

What drew you to choose Imagehaus for your photography & Videography?

I’ve always loved Henryk’s work and knew we would use him as our wedding photographer. When we met Henryk in real life, his relaxed and kind nature sold us even more to go with ImageHaus.

What was your wedding planning journey like for you? How far out did you start planning?

We were very fortunate to have Diane Khoury and her team plan and style the wedding for us early on. It was really unfortunate that we had to delay our original wedding date but having a planner made it much easier.

What was the highlight of your wedding day for you?

The entrance into the reception! We are both of Lebanese background and love Lebanese music. For the entrance we had 24 drummers from A-team and a live Lebanese band that set the energy for the whole night.
